DISCOVER YOUR GIFTS IN METSKU (on Zoom)

We want to encourage everyone to join the “journey of discovery” that involves finding more of their gifts and ministries in the kingdom of God. On the evening of 8.2.2021 at 18 at Zoom you will get the opportunity to do this! The evening is at the same time the starting shot for the leadership school ENTER and is an excellent opportunity to discuss what we have learned about ministries and gifts together.

The evening is open to everyone, but notice that the teaching will be in Swedish. You can join the discussions in English and some of the material will be in English.

SIGN UP by sending an e-mail to metsku@metsku.fi so that we can send you the material in advance. You will also receive the Zoom link by email.

For more information and instructions on how to prepare for the evening, see the Facebook event HERE, or Metsku’s website HERE.

ENTER – Metsku School of Leadership

Exciting news: On February 8, Metsku launches its brand new school of leadership, which will run every three weeks throughout the spring!

The school of leadership is intended for every Christian who wants to grow in his discipleship, discover his talents, and be equipped for his mission in the kingdom of God. We believe that EVERYONE is called to serve as a leader on some level in life: in the family, in a relationship, in a small group, in an entire organization. Everyone can also grow in his or her leadership. We long to see people find their place in God’s great plan and see the body of Christ function and grow strong in Metsku. All of this begins and has its basis in our daily discipleship and our relationship with Jesus Christ. This is the point of departure from where we may move on to an exciting journey of growth and equipping. Mark the dates in your calendar now! Every third Monday, beginning on February 8. (1.3, 22.3, 12.4, 3.5, 24.5)

LAST WEEKS SERMON

Please feel free to use these questions to dig deeper into Kenneth Witicks important teaching about the seven motivational gifts. You can go through them alone or in a group, after or as you are listening to the sermon. You find the teaching on Metskus YouTubechannel and on spotify. (In swedish)

1. What is the difference between the five ministry gifts that Stefan taught about and the seven motivational gifts that Kenneth taught about? Read the Bible passages: Eph 4: 10-12, Romans 12: 6-8

2. In his first part of the teaching about motivational gifts, Kenneth addressed three of the seven gifts; the observer, the servant, and the teacher. Think for yourself or together with others if you recognize any of these gifts in yourself?

3. What are the strengths / weaknesses of each personality gift?

4. What good effects can it have on the congregation if these gifts can work and prosper among the members of the congregation?

5. Think if you come across examples of famous Christians or people among your friends who have these personality gifts?

Bible passages: Eph 4: 10-12, Romans 12: 6-8, 1 Peter 4:10-11
