LAST WEEK’S SERMONPlease feel free to use these questions to dig deeper into Stefan Forsbäcks important teaching from last Sunday. You can go through them alone or in a group, after or as you are listening to the sermon. You find the link to the service here.
1. What does God want to say to Joshua in the text of Joshua 1: 1-9? Why does God command him to be strong and bold? In what ways can the story of Joshua be an encouragement to us Christians today?
2. Read about Gideon in Judges 6: 11–17. What can we learn from this text and take with us in our everyday life?
3. What does God want to say to us about how we can find our true identity through both of the above texts and the Gospel of John 8: 31–32?
4. Read Proverbs 12:18 and 18:21. What is the story that you keep repeating or telling yourself – that does not agree with God’s story about you and the reality about you?
Bible passages: Joshua 1:1-9, 6: 11–17, Deuteronomy 31:7-8, Deuteronomy 31:23, Exodus 33:11, John 8:31-32, Proverbs 12:18 and 18:21
