SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

We gather for Father’s Day Service in the church on Sunday 14.11. at 11. Andreas Forsbäck will share the word with us about the theme Transforming. Welcome to join the service!

Note! No Sunday School “Himlakul” for the kids. The following dates for Himlakul are: 21.11 and 5.12.

We will try to keep the service as safe as possible for everyone. It’s therefore important to participate only if you are healthy. We should all be washing our hands and keeping our distance from each other. Using a facemask is still a recommendation but not compulsory and people who have difficulties breathing with a mask or for other health reasons cannot use a mask do not need to wear one.

LAST WEEKS SERMON

Questions to the sermon 7th November, How to reach out with your testimony

Bible passages: 1 Peter 3:15-17, Acts 26:4-23, 1 Cor 3:4-8

1. Take a moment and reflect: Why am I a Christian today? What has God given to me that I want to pass on, and how can I give it?

2. What does 1 Peter 3:15-17 say about sharing our testimony? Why is it important? What can be challenging? When can you practice, or is it not necessary for you to practice?

3. In Acts 26:4-23 we can read about Paul sharing his testimony in the sections before – change – after. In what other ways can you share your testimony?

4. Have you shared your testimony? How did it go? What can you think about next time? Discuss and share ideas with someone else.

5. Why is it important to not feel condemned or communicate condemnation in your testimony?

6. What are your boundaries for sharing your testimony? What was mentioned in the sermon? How can you challenge yourself?

7. Why are different temperaments (for example being introverted or extroverted) not the same as being bold?

8. What can “the God factor” be when you witness? Have you experienced that, in other ways?

9. How has your testimony changed through the years? Why is it important to be authentic?

10. Others water and plant, God gives the plant. Who do you experience has watered and planted in your life?
