Regular events
There is something for everyone at Metsku. We have worship services every Sunday and for the kids there is Sunday school. For teenagers we have Youth every other Friday and our Life groups get together in homes on different days. Come join us!
Worship
Every Sunday 11:00 AM we gather for our Worship Service where we can meet God, grow in faith and share life with each other.
Sunday school
Every Sunday is kids’ Sunday too! Welcome to Himlakul, as we call our Sunday School – it is never boring there! We sing, play, do crafts, and talk about Jesus.
Life groups
A Life Group is about having friends to share life with. It’s a group where you can grow and laugh together and discover more of faith, life and purpose.
Youth
We are a youth group that gathers every second Friday at 6-8 PM. We want to invest in the youth, to show them how loved they are by God and us.
Counseling
If you need someone to talk to, you are welcome to contact us. We try to arrange counseling for anyone in need of it.
Worship service
Every Sunday at 11:00 am
Every Sunday at 11:00 AM we gather for our Worship Service in our church at Hämeenkatu 4 where we can meet God, grow in faith and share life with each other. The Service consists of sermon, prayer, worship and there is always church coffee afterwards. Welcome to join!
Our sermons are usually in Swedish but they are simultaneously translated into English.

Sunday School
Himlakul, which is what we call our Sunday School, meets approximately every other Sunday. We first gather in the church and join the worship service. The Sunday School is held in the apartment house beside our church building and there are always two adults there with the children. We sing, play, do crafts, and talk about Jesus.
The languages used in our Sunday School are Swedish, Finnish and English, according to the needs on a given Sunday. After the Sunday School the children are brought back to join their parents at church coffee.

Life groups
A Lifegroup is a group where you pray, grow and laugh together and discover more of faith, life and its purpose. It’s also a place where we help and support each other when we have needs. Being part of a Lifegroup can help you live the most meaningful life possible.

Youth & Teens
We want all young people to know how loved you are by God and to help your personal faith to grow. We hope that everyone will feel that they are important and have a place and role in life and the congregation.
Youth for ages 10-14
Metsku Youth is for 10-14 year olds and gathers every second Friday at 6-8:30 PM. A typical Metsku Youth evening consists of playing games, eating together, teaching from the Bible and prayer. Welcome to join us!
Teens for ages 14-18
Metsku Teens is for older teenagers and gathers one Saturday per month at 5-7 PM.

Seminars, camps & retreats
